Using and searching the register
Searching using Smart Investor
Most of the information collected on the Disclose Register is searchable using Sorted’s Smart Investor. This is an online tool that enables you to easily search and compare New Zealand investments such as KiwiSaver and other managed funds, and shares and bonds.
Search for investments at Smart InvestorFinancial Markets Authority (FMA)
FMA is the licensing agency, regulator and enforcer of the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 (the FMC Act). They can take action against an issuer if they have concerns about an offer or scheme.
The transition period
Issuers and managers had 2 years between 1 December 2014 and 30 November 2016 to comply with the FMC Act and transition offers of financial products and managed investment schemes governed under previous legislation.
To view offer and scheme information registered under previous legislation visit the Companies Register website.
The Disclose Register replaced a number of registers held by the Companies Office and FMA including superannuation and KiwiSaver schemes and unit trusts.
