The acceptance process — Overseas Offers
What happens after you submit your application to register an offer
Part of: Overseas offers registration process
You need to send us your correctly completed application by 3pm NZT (working days) for same-day registration. Once your application is accepted, we'll email a confirmation to you and advise the Financial Markets Authority (FMA). If you're a third party acting on behalf of the issuer, we'll also email the issuer.
We may need more information
We may return an application for you to amend and resubmit it to us. Some reasons may include a document being illegible or page numbers being inconsistent.
In these situations, we will email you and return your application with a ‘Revise’ flag under the ‘Things to Do’ section of your dashboard.
You can make the required corrections to your application by selecting the ‘Continue’ option next to that entry.
You'll have 5 working days to make any corrections and return the application to us. Your offer will be registered on the date your revised application is accepted, not the original date you sent it.
We may not accept for some reason
Some situations may require us to reject your application.
In these situations, we will email you and your application will show as rejected in the ‘Past Activity’ section of your dashboard.
If your application is rejected, you will need to complete a new application and pay a new registration fee, if applicable.
