FMA levies on the Disclose Register are changing from 1 July 2022

New Financial Markets Authority (FMA) levies come into force on 1 July 2022

The FMA levies on the Disclose Register are increasing from 1 July, and this will affect the total fees you’ll need to pay. This includes the levies for:

  • filing financial statements under the Financial Market Conduct Act 2013 (FMC Act)
  • lodging a product disclosure statement (PDS)

All fees are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and exclude GST.

If you are due to file your financial statements or need to lodge a PDS in June, make sure you do so no later than 30 June otherwise you will need to pay the higher levies.

The change is part of the Government’s plan to increase the FMA’s budget to help it fulfil its responsibilities as the financial markets’ regulator.
